No, still doesn't work. I've been wating for 2 days already. Tech support doesn't answer to me.
5 days without being able to play after changing API, this is ridiculous! Denuvo does not validate the original game, it's a shame.

I cant play the game when i want to/can play it. I havent been able to play a full day since vulkan update. Do something for real, pirates are going to play this game anyway, dont treat like this paying customers.
If this situation continues like it is I wont be getting any more games from you, and I will make sure that friends and family stay away from the crapware you add to the games.
Just to add some details, it seems to be a problem with the three-way handshake between Doom, Steam, and the DRM/AT.
I can log into another Steam account on my main PC, and access the same Doom installation, using the same .exe, (using Steam Family Share and a relative's account) and it will run perfectly. Log into my personal Steam account, where I actually own the game (and Steam Family Share it from) and I get that error.
And no, it wasn't Share that tripped it, I had never used Family Share until I got to the point of trying to troubleshoot this myself after getting a runaround from support for the last three days.
So we still have not pin pointed the problem if it is the game itself, Denuvo or Steam but it cant hurt to contact steam this is how to do that.
To create a steam ticket for the game you must use this link
And choose a category on Step 1
I went with
"CD Key Questions"
"Failed to Contact Key Server",
Now under Step 2
"Is the problem with Steam or with a game on Steam?"
you can either choose "Steam" or "Game or software on steam"
I chose the second option "Game or software on steam" then it asked for the game name typed in Doom, waited for the game to show up in the list, selected it, filled in the ticket and sent it.
You can choose which ever category suits you.
Now to wait and see right sigh lol
Side note: you will have to create a steam support account on that link first though.
Also here is the Denuvo support contact form for doom no one replies though

We're looking at this now.
It sounds like the issue is if you're exceeding the threshold of executable changes for the game. For now, I would advise not switching between them so rapidly. I will update when I have more info.
Great news me and some other players in this "re-activation error situation" can now play again after around 90+hrs of waiting it now works which I believe is still not right but hey I'm not complaining.
A big thanks to gstaff and the Bethesda support team for all they have done in trying to get this issue resolved, maybe something you guys did helped fix it.
Honestly they should include in the fine print that it could take up to 90+hrs.
Anyway this is still an issue to be looked into for the future.
So not going to change anymore settings now I swear

Another thing in my windows firewall DOOMx64vk.exe was blocked and not the DOOMx64.exe make sure to check your windows firewall inbound rules, even if the firewall is disabled the rules are still active.
And add the DOOMx64vk.exe to your anti virus Firewall as well, there was no rule for it on my anti virus either but there was one for the DOOMx64.exe?
